BY TRAIN – For timetables check here!

Trains go from Wellington or Waikanae on the KPL line every hour. The last train to Wellington departs Paraparaumu at 12:01AM (Midnight).

If you are traveling to and from Coastella by train, the Kapiti Kruzer will run a regular return shuttle bus 32-seater between Southwards and Paraparaumu Railway station from 12pm until 4pm and again from 8:00pm till 11:30pm to connect with both local bus and train services at Paraparaumu train station. It is anticipated that the bus will be on 30 minute loops depending on traffic. The bus will have Coastella signs on it.

There is a cost of $5 per passenger per single trip between the train and Southwards. Kapiti Kruzers will also provide after-party transport on the same basis at a cost of $10 per passenger per single trip. CASH ONLY – NO EFTPOS FACILITIES

We suggest event-goers make use of the excellent local Metlink bus services, no 250, 260, 261 and 262 which operate on a regular timetable around Paraparaumu and Raumati and connect with trains (and our bus) at Paraparaumu train station.

Parking is available within the Southward Car Museum Carpark for $5 which will go towards Volunteer Kapiti and One Percent Collective.
