Tuatara Brewery

Tuatara celebrated their 15th Birthday in 2015, the brewery began as a backyard operation at founder Carl Vastas home in the hills behind Waikanae in Reikorangi. There’s a degree of loose talk in New Zealand about “kiwi ingenuity”, most of it from people who’d struggle to change a tyre, but Carl is the living, breathing epitome of that noble philosophy. If he needed a shed or a bottler or a tank, he’d just go ahead and build one. Before too long, he’d managed to brew a superb range of ales, porters and pilsners for his friends under the name Tuatara.

Now located in Sheffield street in Paraparaumu Tuatara is NZ’s leading craft brewery, awarded Best brewery for the second time in 2016.

Tuatara will be serving (via the Landrover) On tap from the Main Bar Zone:
– Sauvinova pale ale
– Mot Eureka Pilsner
– Helluva lager
– Kapai pale ale
– Weiz Guy wheat beer
– ITI (3.3% apa)

Panhead Custom Ales

Panhead is New Zealand’s very own craft brewing monster truck rally, putting the frighteners on anyone who thinks beer should mind its own business and cower behind the wine rack. Launched in 2013 out of the old Dunlop tyre factory in darkest Maidstone, we were embraced enthusiastically from the get go by Wellington’s beer cognoscenti of beardy app developers, design grads and contractors from the Ministry of Social Development.

Starting with four stock beers of spot-hitting quality and consistency it wasn’t long before we were turning out hopped-up, weirded-out specials every other week just to sate the demand of a public who wanted their tastebuds destroyed with every pint.

Panhead will be serving On tap from the Main Bar zone:

– Culture Vulture
– Quickchange XPA
– Super Changer APA
– Port Road Pilsner
